...I must confess my sins. I think Megaman 3 was the best of the series. *douses flames*
Seriously! It took everything 2 did, and just refined it further, while adding a SLIDE!. And the Rush Jet in that one ruled. On top of it, you at least get to fight a guy with the same moves as the sentient Zippo lighter.
The first Megaman X rules, and 2-4 are decent. Stop right there, though, I give you fair warning.
