I really don't think them changing Snake's claymore to align with the feel of the rest of the game is violence censorship. I mean, it still blows up when you step on it, right?

I think I read somewhere that people were upset that his claymores looked too realistic. I believe it as a group against the use of landmines, so that's their MO I guess?

I personally like it more, I like the idea that I'm burying intricately wrapped presents or a delicious cake. I wonder how many you can set, though? Just one? What if you're on a metal platform like in Final Destination, will it still go through?
