What's the deal with the Metal-lica covers?
Hell, the first time I heard "Sk8er Boi" or whatever it's called, I was in the pub and it came on MTV... and I was quite literally counting the chords, on one hand, just like when I saw the "Josie and the Pussycats" trailer. Four chord rock n roll, exactly like the Ramones were making popular decades ago.
So how can miss Lasagne, armed with a mic and four chords, replicate an eight minute thrash out of "Master of Puppets"? Are we talking metal without the solos, or the progression, or just about anything that actually requires TALENT?
Oh wait, that's Linkin Park. Doh!!
