You disappoint me Dr. O. And here I thought we could be friends one day.
The Evil Dead films are some of the greatest campy horror flicks ever made. They're supposed to be silly, but also super cool. Evil Dead II was always my favourite, but the first one is cool too. It just doesn't get any better than Grandma zombie trying to bust out of the cellar with Ash sitting/bouncing on top of the hatch.
I recommend as the others have that you go back and watch it again. Don't go into it expecting an intense horror experience, but rather a damn fun 90 minutes.
