I wouldn't be at all surprised if GWB took up what his grandfather had left and failed to do. The pattern of power grabbing by both the germany nazi and the bush administration are eerily similiar, starting with playing the anti-communist/anti-terrorist card as a blanket to justify the creation and the expansion of power. Then you got the whole enabling act/patriot act and the homeland security thing.
