What do you think it would take in the way of corruption and outright criminality to barr a corporation from getting an Iraq contract?

I mean, aside from contributting to Democrats or being French.

Seriously, If Worldcom can get a sweet deal here, why not Enron?

To be fair, This contract seems to have been bid out, unlike Halliburtons. I'm sure Worldcom put in a very competative, attractive bid. Luckily, they're a pretty trustworthy bunch and I think we can all be sure if they say they can do a good job for whatvre they bid, well, they're word is, after all, their bond.

I mean, it's not as if they're Bechtel, who's current project, The Big Dig is running billions of dollars in the red and who have a long history of criminally overcharging on gevernment contracts. Oh, wait, Bechtel got an Iraq deal too.
