In the last year I have moved to a part of Britain that gets no gigs whatsoever, so imagine my pain when I found this cruel November that the same night I had bought tickets to see Built to Spill in Bristol, Acid Mothers Temple were playing here. What are the odds?

When I was living in Cardiff and I would go see any band that was average or better, I bought tickets to Arcade Fire and then found out that Boredoms were playing ten minutes away on the same night. I wanted to cry.

Where at? Somehow I find this impossible to believe, because while you live in a shit town, at least you're getting SOME bands.
