I think since WWE destroyed the competition it's become lackluster. Kayfabe in general got out of hand. It's over the topness like that that made me stop watching it. Thankfully I have most of WWE/WCW from 97-2000 on VHS that I'm going through watching with my roommate now. It'll never be the same.
