Hey, my name is a reference to my frustration with Macs, not baby carriages at all. I bought a bunch of RAM for an LCII in the early 90's and couldn't get more than 256 colors on the monitor. So I zapped the PRAM (holding down three keys, or maybe it was eight- I usually just mashed down as many as I could with my forearms) and it was to no avail.
Turns out, the monitor, itself, could only support 8 bit color.
This was a bedtime story. Nighty night, little guy. If you get too hot in your footie jam-jams, there's an extra blanket at the foot of the bed.
