I still do completely deadpan sarcasm. When someone asks a stupid question, I usually go along with it and help them believe that whatever dumb shit thing they believe is real.

Television uses laugh tracks so viewers know when the joke is said and to make us "think" its funny.

Maybe its the same with sarcasm. Without the eyeroll and funny voice how will TV viewers know it's sarcasm.
