Id imagine the flak you would receive if you didnt do your job properly. Probably why its a sensitive issue to you. I used to work for the food industry and the company does source some of our ingredients from not-so-reputable-sources ie china. We used to joke alot about how our sauce is made from sludge and our buns compressed asbestos, because they do look and taste like it. However I assure you, we would never do, or wish anything that would harm people who buy the stuff ;__;
