The pageant girls wear "flippers", fake teeth that hide the fact that they're losing their baby teeth and are therefore HIDEOUS.
I watch "Toddlers and Tiaras" every once in a while. Have you noticed the moms are almost universally heavy and frumpy? There must be some psychological formula there.
