When I'm travelling, I have a hard time with books. I always get some magazines. That's the only time I ever read magazines. You could even borrow some magazines from your library in Maine and then mail them back when you get to GA.
You could also do some writing.

You could write out some goals. For example, you could write out where you'd like to see yourself in five years, and then work on a plan to get there.
