We always knew the oxycontin addicts when they would show up at the ER with vague "toothaches" and make a speedy exit when the doctor offered a nerve block shot.

In other news, I must be having an uncoordinated month because I whacked the back of my hand hard on an oven handle and I think I must have nailed the tendon. I have a big white lump on the back of my hand, right over a tendon, ringed by a deep bruise. It's pretty awesome, but because it's on my right hand and doesn't really interfere with anything, I mostly ignore it.
