The Tigers won it with pitching. NY apologists are pouring in. Even on-air sportsanalities are saying the Yanks have had weaknesses all season...that this was not a "typical" Yankee championship team. Yet Nova was an unexpected star. and Jorge was an example of a veteran still in form. Bottom line: with a $100 million payroll, the standards are high. In NY, they're even higher.

The Yankoff fans/talking heads are so full of fucking shit. They get 'the best team that money can buy' then it fails and now here come the excuses.

chemistry wins championships, not bank, and until the Yankees of the 21st century figure this out, they will not win 1/4 World Series like the Yankees of the 20th century did
