to be goth you must be gay first off. secondly you must renounce all you hold dear in pledge of eternal misery and total wimpdom. secondly you simply MUST at all times act like you're about to kill yourself (but don't do it). and you can always order hot topic crap online if you're that hard up.

I'm already totally wimpdom-ified and wallowing in eternal wisdom. I guess I'm gonna have to work on the gay part though.... *Looks at the dildo he just bought, and shudders* Its gonna be hard. And just because you drees like a gothic it doesnt make you a gothic you have to have a certain personality to be a gothic, and it doesn't actually count unless thats how you really act. If you care about what other people think than don't become gothic because when i go places people always say things like"It's not holloween yet". A good example of a gothic is Marilyn Manson you have to be a freak too. Like carving pintagrams on your body, stapping your self, self mutilatoin like that. When you become gothic people will call you a poser if you don't worship the devil, councilers wiil bug you, most people you hung out with before will stop being your friend, and people will have big conversatoins about you every time you walk by because of the way you look. There is no way this cannot be a joke. Goths are required to be masochistic and use cliched imagery, goths who don't worship the devil (which devil is that, anyway?) are posers, and people have big conversations about goths every time they walk by? Personally, I just laugh and think "what an idiot" whenever a goth walks by, there's no way I would stop whatever I was doing at the time and start talking about the idiot goth.

Why do you hate our people Perndog? What did we ever do to you? I'm going to masturbate to gory horror movies for a few hours now. It may not be goth, but its something that I enjoy doing when my life is taking a turn for the worse. As it usually does since I am, you know, adrift, in a sea of... uh lonliness and sorrow, ya, thats it.

That's because my name isn't camera, It's chamera(sounded out as Sha-mear-a). I really don't get what qouting me frrom that other post had to do with anything. And if you arn't gothic who are you to say what makes you a poser and what doesn't? And they don't talk about the fact that I'm gothic they talk about the way my make up looks. And it's mostly just the people who I considered my friends. besides I just became gothic in like jun or July, so i havn't became a satanist yet.

I apologize, I don't know anything about the gothic world, having lived around goths for seven more years than you've existed and having been one myself as a teenager. I bow to your superior knowledge as arbiter of that which is goth. Oh woe, if only they hadn't cast me out for failing to perform the ritual act of hanging by my testicles in service to the Dark Lord! If only I had more ardently slashed my forearms with a razor blade in the bathroom and filled my school notebooks with more hellish inscriptions, I would now still be a member of that unholy alliance!

Oh and...This is Satanism, not to be confused with devil worship. Very few goths are satanists, and even fewer over the age of 15 are devil worshipers. At least I think so - I really don't know anything about goths, remember.

well not all gothics are all the same. you don't make any sence. I never said any one filled their school paper with satanic things, I don't even have school papers. And i just said that the people I once considered as friends say I'm a poser since I'm not a Satanist. And i'm not little. Besides you were never goth when it was the Golden Age of Grotesque.

No, I guess I never was a goth in the last four months, so I certainly was right in believing that you are the keeper of the true goth secrets and nothing I ever experienced could have prepared me for this great Golden Age. Would that I had waited until after junior high to succumb to my inner darkness, then I would be able to become gothic under the great idol of Manson and be blessed with his newest release.
