ok, what i am saying is this. it seems odd to me for a grown man to collect drawings and posters (please note that i have never said anything about it being official) of girls that are supposed to be 14 or so in sexual situations.
i never said anything about the actual show, and the oral sex reference comes from a poster my husbands loser friend had ordered.
i was using that link as an example.
i never ever said a goddamned thing about the show itself either.

Not everyone who watches an anime with underaged girls is all hot to see them do oral sex to each other.

This isn't to say that there aren't people who do want that, but still, I liked Evangelion, as fucked up as it was, and I don't buy pictures of the characters in sexual situations.

Consider that all the characters look alike, though. The dark-blue-haired chick, Misato, is 29 in the cartoon, and the only differend in her body structure from the other girls is that her tits are a smidgen larger and she's taller. Maybe this guy doesn't realize the other two are 14, or he's a Japanophile and just buys whatever Japanese shit he can get.

Or he's a dirty dirty man.

what im saying is that its really not much better than looking at child pornography. im not talking about anyone in paticular im speaking in generalities. im asking any anime fans here who collect art of this nature if they feel that its similar to child porn or if it seems to support exploiting underage women. jesus fucking christ its a pretty simple question.

I think it'd be child porn if people masturbated to it while thinking "Mmm, children...", but as it is, it's just somewhat suggestive anime art of underage characters. I wouldn't have thought of them being in a sexual situation if you hadn't suggested it. To me it was a pretty cool picture of Asuka and Rei with an unneccessary panty shot that is common in most anime-related-stuff and doesn't always mean "BUY THIS BECAUSE IT IS ALMOST PORN."

So I don't think it is similar to child porn. It's bizzaro art.

I guess it could be called "okay" in the sense that you shouldn't be arrested for it, but it is still damn creepy.

Consider the obsession with celebrities that some people have, though. This isn't all that different. It's looked down on to be sexually attracted to Emma Watson, but Lyndsey Lohan is fine now that she's legal.
