Let's see if y'all can get this one
It was a SNES game. The first scene was you as a farmboy, awakening to your destiny as RPG characters are wont to do. There was a goat in a pen, and if you spoke to him before getting a bag of goat food, you'd have to hard reset the game because you couldn't escape the text.
In the northeast-ish part of the map was a chapel, and when you touched your paintbrush to a fresco you were taken into some fantasy world.
What the hell was this?
It wasn't Battletoads
