hey! i'm not dead!

where to start. hrm.
freezing rain kept my son home from school today. yay.
we moved into a new place last week that's in the country, where our puppy can run free, getting back to her beagle roots. (she's half chow, too, oddly enough.) little by little, i'm getting things rearranged. cleaning and unpacking. yuck.
since summer, i've been singing with my band two nights a week and doing open mic nights with the guitar player two nights a week. i've no other job right now, aside from the occasional layout/design project, so i haven't been able to afford the internet. :( (i got the free aol trial with my new addy. tehee.)
after the first of the year, we're gonna work on playing out of town at least one weekend a month, probably starting in richmond, since the bass player lives there. and no, proto, i haven't been up to visit yet. :P
so yah. i'm back.
