I tried that, and I heard the windows sound.....but I couldn't get the monitor to come on (had to restart several times AGAIN to make it turn on)....
The power I turn on and off is the one on the computer. The power on the monitor is on 'on', so there SHOULDN'T be a problem with it, you'd think.
And I think this is an unbranded PC because it's a customized one that my dad put together a long time ago.
