Our latest minimock involves one of our favorite types of photo-pieces to do for the site: putting stupid do-it-yourself toy food kits to the test. This time Protoclown and I take on the McDonald's McFlurry Maker! Check it out to see how it compares with real McFlurries and all of the other food toys we've tested in the past!

i saw a watchdog episode where they talked about this, after they got complaints from customers, watchdog went to the makers for a explanation to why they were so shit, to which McD's responded:

'its not meant for the perfect creation of mcflurries, but for a simulation of the experience'

(hardly a quote since i saw the programme over 3 years ago, but that was the jist of it)

Sadly that's going to be one of the last photo pieces that RoG and I are going to be in together for a while. We have at least one more that we're going to do before he moves, but after that they'll only happen when we get together to visit.

I still say we need to do some pieces where we pretend that we still live right next to each other and we take separate photos and then badly copy-paste them next to each other. The piece will be all about how we're going through "buddy withdrawal" or something.
