All of you shut the hell up about "canon"! You're supposed to be sharing your thoughts on Operation: Anchorage.

I say: too short, not worth the money.

Fawkes died on me...

Finished another playthrough of Fallout 3 on the PC which runs a lot smoother. During Operation Anchorange my achievements weren't calculating on me for some reason so I have to restart it.

It's decent but short. It was worth the purchase and I'm looking forward to the next 2 downloads.

It creates a separate save file when you enter the memorial, but that's it.

They're supposedly fixing it in one of the upcoming DC releases.

I agree, even though I haven´t played it (but I know what the contents are). Not enough stuff for my taste.

But those ten dollars could be spent for the third expansion which brings us the long wanted levelcap-increase :P

Or in the meantime be part of the money you spend on Streetfighter 4 and Resident Evil 5 ^^

Ten dollars is enough. $5 is what I would pay for a shitload of cars in Burnout: Paradise, or an island with a treasure chest on it that contains three new weapons in any other RPG.

I took it as 10 bucks is not worth 90 mins of fun.

I don't understand why people are willing to pay 10 bucks to see a movie that is 90 minutes long, but not pay 10 bucks for 90 minutes of interactive fun that you can then play anytime after that.

The reason I'm against that is because $10 can get you a lot more than a little over an hour of fun in Fallout 3. Hell, you could get the entire Bionic Commando Rearmed game for less than that. My standards are just too high.

Plus, you're not even getting a real FO3 quest. You can't interact with any objects, you can't search any of the people you kill, and you can only get health and ammo from special health and ammo stations. It's more like they're just borrowing a level from Call of Duty.

And as for the movie ticket comparison, when do you draw the line on that? Why not just buy every 360 game? Is $60 really that much more than $10? As long as you get at least 6 hours of gameplay out of each, you're still breaking even.

I don't get 6 hours of enjoyment out of a lot of games. I tried bionic commando: rearmed, and I just didn't like it enough to buy it.

I felt this was money well spent though, grandpa Bower.

So what are your predictions for the third expansion, Broken Steel? I personally think that they'll give us a stealth mission with Gallows.

I heard a rumor that they might add in the opportunity to have your ghoul/super mutant companion activate the purifier at the end. If only all bad writing fixes could be that easy.

I've been putting off installing this for a while now because I didn't want it affecting my final year exams. With them over I've finally got it installed and it's a good thing I did wait because it's eating a lot of my time. Awesome game.

I've kind of put the main quest on hold for a while and I'm just working working though a ton of side-quests. The only thing is I keep stumbling back into main-quest plot points by exploring. Hope it doesn't ruin the story too much.

btw - how do you go about getting the BoS to teach you how to use the power armour?

Once you get Dr Lee and her group of cronies to the Citadel, you just ask the elder if you can be trained. He tells you to go talk to some guy who is normally in the conference area of I think A Ring.

Power armor sucks. It's too heavy and slow.
But the Tesla Armor looks pretty kickass, and the Medic armor is fucking hilarious.
