I liked the Matrix OK. I just don't get the fanaticism thing I'm seeing out there. What's that about? Anyone who thinks this movie is so deep and relevant should check philosophers like Immanuel Kant who originally wrote about our minds being a matrix for whatever we CAN think. He and those who followed him are probably the inspiration for a movie like this whether the authors of this movie know it or not ... and he wrote over 200 years ago. Or you can go back even further with Descartes and his examinations of how we obtain knowledge and how we can be assured that it's real. Examining the limits of the mind in that respect to me is interesting. This movie is just a derivative of all that and some fancy special effects. Fun? Yes. Reallllly relevant and worth getting fanatical? Nah. Just sayin :/
