I'm not sure why, but I'm getting a peculiar kind of satisfaction seeing the Big East get smacked down in the first round. ND, Marquette and G-Town all took powders, with Nova just squeaking by.

Lehigh actually gave Kansas a scare. Hmmmmmm.....

Minnesota is on a 9-0 run.

A shitty local sports station here is claiming this morning that Tubby Smith is near finalizing a contract with AUBURN. This is the same station last year that reportedly had Tubby on a plan to sign a contract with Virginia.

Wow, NIU schooled Kansas. Only time Kansas had a lead that game was when it was 2-0 Kansas.

I can root root root for OSU now without a worry for what it will do to me bracket :P

As always every year I have no faith in my own team and I always have them losing in the second round. :/ They're holding their own against Maryland right now but fuck guys my bracket. MY BRACKET

Wish I joined this bracket but my bracket is pretty much a bust despite picking against notre dame and clemson in first round. I knew neither one ever had much luck in big stages. So naturally I'm hoping for a cinderella story. I'm rooting for bunch of hicks from northern iowa to reach the final 4 for the first time since the grandfather of basketball hick, larry bird in '79. If they win it all, it would bring the sexy in mutton chops and receding hairlines. Its funny because I was watching the n. iowa/kansas game, I forgot about my bracket in which I choose kansas to win it all, and found myself rooting for the hicks to pull of a major upset.
