Yeah Circumstances are unclear, but it sounds like it was sudden and unexpected.

I'm the biggest asshole on the internet and I genuinely feel extremely bad for the guy. I can't imagine what he was going through at the time. Hell, what he's still going though now. This is my worst fear.
