You shouldnt fear spiders, there indiferent to humans. What you should fear are savanah monitors. The only thought on the mind of a monitor lizard is how it could kill everybody around it. They dont get that big but there pure evil.

I'd rather not know how it got under that clock.

Spiders don't bother me, but spiders that friggin' big scare the bejesus out of me.

given the title of this thread, my assessment is that either orgazmo has a thing for spiders or he's a hormone-ridden adolescent type.

Why is the first impulsive move of Orgazmo seeing a huge spider is taking pictures of it?

I saw a documentary about spiders where the subject came up to an etymologist as to what's the biggest a spider could get, ect. He said that, due to physics, gravity versus the strength of the exoskeleton, ect. that some varieties of tarantula are the biggest they can feasibly get. It put all the hoaky 1950s nuclear giant spider movie conjecture to rest. To me, that's good and bad, in a way. I wanted to see a giant spider taking out a multi-story building at least once in my lifetime.

The largest spider ever found was an african bird eating spider, it was 11.5 inches long.

Interestingly enough, there was one featured in the crocodile hunter movie. Scary fuckers.

The manilest women ever found was davinxtk. He was found on the I-Mockery boards posting useless knowledge. That spider does look fake though.

This paged stayed on-topic and didn't stray until JUST NOW.

I think that's a new I-Mockery record (unless I missed something)

The only spider I could ever like fights a Green Goblin.

That is NOT a Brown Recluse. A Brown Reculse has a distinct violin shaped marking on it's back.

See?

Yeah, in a museum a while ago they had one of those. There was a picture of one in the middle of a dinner plate with it's legs stretched out and it WAS BIGGER 8-)

Normaly a simple rolled up newspaper could make short work of any spider, but that fucking thing warrants the use of small arms fire. As a gun enthusiast I would recommend a high-end air rifle such as an RWS or perhaps a rimfire .22 caliber rifle like the ruger 10/22. Always shoot at point blank as you arent aware of any countermeasures that spider is capable of.
