Seeing as she's to be my service dog, she has an unparalleled amount of attention. Even through her crate training, her crate is right in the center of all activity in the house so she'll never feel excluded or left out. I'm with her all day. She goes on long walks, has toys galore and watches the children's public television station.
Unfortunately, she's a breed that's highly intelligent and susceptible to boredom, and she's a bit spoiled. She's come to believe that she's entitled to
all of the attention,
all of the time. If she's going to be tethered to me, she needs to learn how to be relatively unobtrusive, and since she's still a puppy she's not very good at that
It's hard to remember she's still less than 6 months old because she's so freaking huge.
