I started watching American Dad a few months back. I enjoy it thoroughly.

On a side note I'm sick of that Axe: Dark Temptation commercial. Enough already.

It's not for everyone, but American Dad! is not Family Guy. If they were animated in differing styles the differences would be more pronounced. Both are good on their own merits, and I hope Fox (and viewers) learned a lesson from dismissing Futurama.

American Dad now is what Family Guy was seasons 1-3 which was Simpsons seasons 5-8. End point.

I mainly like American Dad because I miss Paul Lynde and Roger is the closest thing there is right now.

american dad is family guy without flashbacks. seriously. they even set up for flashbacks but then don't do them, probably because the writers were like FUCK THIS SHOW IS EXACTLY THE SAME WE JUST HAVE AN ALIEN INSTEAD OF A DOG BECAUSE BOTH SHOWS ARE ABOUT A DAD AND HIS FAMILY HMMM FUCK WE SUCK

I used to watch that 2006 Flash Gordon series until it was canceled.

I also watch Doctor Who, but that's not showing in America now. So I'm not watching much on tv.
