Santa was a secret character in Clayfighter 63 1/3 along with Boogerman and Earthworm Jim. It was almost Sega's Smash Brothers!

That game sucked, but it had as much online compatibility as Brawl does, apparently

I got to play this today!

It's basically Melee with all the kinks worked out. Samus is fun to play again, and I'm also good with Ike!


I didn't get to play Marth because my friend hadn't unlocked anything yet

I tried an online match, and I got bored of kicking the sandbag around for 5 minutes

It controls like dogshit, but maybe I'm not spastic enough to use the Wii and nunchuck. It just doesn't feel right to me when they're separated. I guess it's the classic controller for me.

The Wiimote and Nunchuck setup is really annoying to use, yeah. The lack of motion or infared control was also sort of stupid; I was stuck on the character select screen for about 3 minutes trying to find out why the Wii wasn't recieving the remote's signal before I found out you had to use the control stick to move the cursor.

using the motion sensor would have been nice, but i don't find it annoying. but then again, i never really liked the gamecube controller and didn't play melee enough to get used to it

the first time you connect to wi-fi it tells you, otherwise go to "With Friends" and then "Friend Roster." yours will be at the top

on further evaluation I hate this game

It feels like they balanced everything out some, which is good, but for whatever reason Melee's speed and fluidity have been taken away and the entire game feels incredibly sloggy and gay. I might just be having trouble getting used to it, but there really wasn't any reason to slow everything down.

Overall I like the way they slowed it down, but it is damn near impossible to land a falcon knee outside of a combo now because people can see it coming a mile away.

Another thing I don't like is that a bunch of the new items and abilities are absolute bullshit, the three-part spaceship thing and Samus' final smash being the worst offenders I've encountered


Also what the fuck happened to Style Mode

I RISKED IT ALL betting the max amount on a team battle, and I got a bonus of a medium sticker bundle when they won ;<
