Cagliostro was always my favorite.

I used to love Kiki's Delivery Service when I was little, but I don't know if it's still good because I haven't seen it since I was like 9 years old.

Mine: Castle In The Sky > Nausicaa > Porco Rosso > The rest of his films. I simply love Castle In The sky because of the setting, the wild airship chases, and floating castles although far fetched sounding, its actually based on technology on their world. ^.^

Castle in the Sky is objectively his best movie, but I like Mononoke more because it fucking blew my 11 year old mind the first time I saw it. It's also just got a great score, cool setting, good acting, pretty visuals, valid message, etc.

Porco Rosso is worth watching. I hated the ending as much as Ponyo's conclusion and for the same reasons, because nothing really gets resolved, but it's still a good movie.

Yes mononoke was the most awesome of all, quality-wise. I forgot to mention but I really love it too. Im just as much a sucker for flying machines though, which is why I loved Castle, and Porco ^^;

Im also a big fan of Diesel Punk, I feel like there should be more done for that genre =x

I think Cagliostro was always my favorite, but only because I really liked the cheesy Lupin III TV series.

Wiffles, I like dieselpunk, but I was always more of a fan of retro-futurism like the kind in Terry Gilliam's Brazil or Fallout 3.

Oh yes. Im sure you watched Fritz Lang's Metropolis too? Speaking of fallout, the design is just unparalleled. I also love studying urban decay, and dystopias.
Im playing Halflife 2 and Fallout now, just for the Urban decay-ness feel of it =D
