I think DKPs are retarted too. I think people who have nothing should at least get 1 or 2 items without having to earn points on 5 different raids.

I understand the logic of equiping the crap members first. (like my first Scholo run where I made out like a bandit with Mak in DA. Bow, gloves, breasplate motherfucker)

but on the other hand, I think equiping those who put time and effort into something is great also.

Edit:

HAHAHA! The Paladin 3rd Tier looks like shit. The 2nd Tier was all badass but now they look like the pussies they are!

Still, the worst looking Tier 3 set in my opinion is the Warlock set. Fucking horrible.

It's important to gear the people who show up frequently. If you give a really good item to someone who only logs in once a week, or decides to quit the game a few days later, you have essentially wasted that item. It could be many weeks before it drops again and any benefits the guild would have gained are lost.

My guild made the decision a few months ago to automatically loot all warrior set pieces and tanking gear to the main tanks for a fixed DKP amount. No bidding. No other warrior could get those items unless all the tanks had it already. All of the other warriors were really pissed off (some even quit the guild) but in the end everyone realized that it was the best decision because we had tanks that didn't die and everyone has acquired more loot than we could have before.

I really wish I had the time to play WoW. Soon I start work again, and that will hopefully free up some time.

Actually Chimp, I play an MMO so I can have fun with old gamer friends that now live far, far away.

Not to obsessivley compete in timesink competitions with and taking orders from people who spend way more hours than is remotely healthy playing a fucking video game.

I only play on Fridays and Saturdays for about 3-4 hours and I have 5/8 cenarion. Its not really a big "timesink" to get DKP.

Though the bigger guilds that require attendance daily and raid MC, BWL, and AQ40 on a rotating schedule need to eat some shit from a dog dish and kiss their blow up dolls. Yunno, get outside or something.

Day of Duels!

my 60 hunter went up against a epic shaman with Sulfres, the Mace of Rag or something. It was orange. Everything else he had was purple with 1-2 blue.

I was dead in a minute.

I had originally heard that it was supposed to be the Twist for both genders, a la Pulp Fiction (males dance like Travolta, girls dance like Thurman).

I would have liked to see that, actually. And has anyone seen the video of the female dance? I heard there was one, but I can't find it.

the draenai dance is pretty weird, but the blood elves one kicks its ass

anyway, my current WoW dance emote chart:

1-Undead - male
2-Troll - male
3-Orc -male

ummm.....most of the rest suck

Lords of the Dead? Crap on that. I was hoping for Lords of the Dance!

I was reading the shaman high level armor sets, and I discovered something. Blizzard wants high level shamans to be Healers.

No crap. Blizz wants practically EVERY high level magic user to be a healer.

It's because shaman and druid DPS in end game raids is negligible, and healing is extremely necessary.
