beerworks had a new, stronger beer last night called the hercules. my friend dave, who usually drinks 3 of the quads (supposed to be a cut off at 2) and isn't usually piss ass drunk, was destroyed after 2 hercules'

10KVG: finally tried HOWL while i was in new york. had no idea it was a winter beer; was okay.

also had sea dog's apricot wheat and that was mighty tasty, and tried messiah he'brew (GET IT) based on concept. it was pretty damn dark and made me shit gross the next day. ANNNND got to try arrogant bastard (gooooood) and leffe (waaaaaaaaaaaay too honey sweet)

i'll have something more to post about new york later, probably in true bedroom stories

So I'm trying out PBR. Not really enjoying it. :/ More bitter than I expected, although I spose it could ok chugging, which is the plan for tomorrow. I'm sure it won't matter after a few, haha.

e: Most of the drinks you guys have recommended / spoke of aren't available up here.

Bad times about the Howl. Not a huge fan of winter ales. I went to Wal-Mart the other day and found out they have beer. I bought a 12 pack of Magic Hat Vinyl which is my favorite new beer. I got home and realized somehow it went bad. I checked the box and it goes bad in April. Wal-Mart managed ruin it.

I did happen to buy a Jersey Shore shirt there though that says

"FISTPUMPING LIKE CHAMPS"
