I would buy them just to know i had 50 martial art movies spanning across 12 dvd's. but then they would go up on the shelf and never be touched again. 2-3 martial art movies maybe, but then thats really pushing this genre with me. anymore than that just 'aint happening, not with this guy.

But some of the other titles may be cool to have.

They got a Yuen Wo Ping collection for 14 at Best Buy with six films. I used to have a box of Gamera films I got for ten bucks and still have a box-set of James Bond flicks on VHS.

If you want to save yourself some cash, try going to a Sam's Club or Costco and looking for the 250 Movie Packs. Most of them collect every single Mill Creek (which are the people who put out the 10-20-50-100-250 movie packs of public domain shit) release so you can get it all in one go for about $35.

Problem is that the Martial Arts stuff might have a load of old gladiator movies.

Anytime you buy a 50+ movie pack, generally you're doing so for only one or two of the movies that are included with it. The rest of the movies are usually just filler. I usually go with the smaller volume packs (3-6 movies) because it's usually all stuff that I want. Those "Fright Pack" DVD sets they released a few years ago, for example, were all awesome.

My Greek professor bought the 50 sci-fi movies collection and recommends it. It is ho kalos. If you like so-bad-it's-funny movies, there you go. But these public domain movies are up for download. Just check on google video.
"100% pure public domain movie juice, for the shit-eating dinosaur in you."
