Have any of you read her views on how pornography is associated with rape?

Do any of you think that she is cracked out like I do?

Personally, if I wanna dance naked in jello and film it, I think I should have the right to.

You're thoughts?

Yes.

She and Andrea Dworkin are on my hitlist. I'm just really starting to understand the work of both of them, but both of them need to get real. I'd like to consider myself a feminist, but they're just...wrong. The sad thing is, people actually take their opinions seriously.

A Good Assessment of Dworkin from Susie Bright.

I just hate when people draw causation from correlation.

Personally, I think rapists may buy more porn, but they would be rapists regardless if you took it away. The whol arguments about the porn makes women objectified so that men respect ALL women less is stupid. At most, it may make some men see them as "sluts" but does that really convert over too all women as a gender? And seeing those few women that way seriously, does that physically cause them to go out and rape a woman? I don't think so. I believe about 90% or more men watch porn but I don't think that 90% or more of men are rapists.

For us real feminists, we realize that porn is one of the few industries where women make a great deal more than men and personally, I almost see it as taking advantage of men who have yet to realize that they could get these services for free if within a relationship. It's a personal choice that women make to do, and they should be allowed to do so. I know a few strippers who work one weekend out in vegas and are able to live the rest of the month COMFORTABLY without having any other supplemental income or a man supporting them.

I don't care what a woman does with her body, as long as what she's doing is a.) her own decision and b.) she is only putting herself in immediate danger. There are a few exceptions (Linda Lovelace), but most women who work in porn and other sex industries are working in the industry are doing so on their own terms.

I see what you're saying, but some people might take that the wrong way.
