48 hours!

So, made it 48 hours without sleeping. HURRAH.

Worked at old job, got started at 2nd new job (Big 5 shit, but 20% off firearms), watched most of the Taken episodes, played some Halo 2/Streetfighter II matches, it was great.

Did you know, that when you lack sleep, your body also doesn't demand food? It was a great way of saving myself money these last 2 days.

Now, most of you are like "pfft, wtf n00b, I goes weeks without sleeping"

Well FUCK YOU, I need sleep! Only gays and fatties need the lack of it. I off to sleep now.

aye, it was insomnia the first night. Second night, some military friends of mine where switching from day to night duty, and they needed to stay up all night. That was where the Ultimate Streetfighter championship came into play. My friend had the pieces to a arcade kit. So we played on the arcade style buttons and joystick.

I stayed up for 48 hours once (finals week). NEVER AGAIN WILL I DO THAT.

Hmmm I felt slightly nautious the whole time, which wasn't that bad, but it also felt like my body was going into self-destruct mode. Plus I'd start mistaking things for something else for about half a second (thought a fluffy cat walking near me was a pillow being dragged by a fishing line or something before I took a closer look). I also thought I was seeing things moving out of the corner of my eye when there really wasn't anything.

I get really sea sick if I stay up like that. Get some sleep before you slit your wrists or propose to your roomates or something equally disturbing.

i didn't sleep for three days straight one time, trying to catch up on my schoolwork my junior year of college. of course, i had a toddler and a house to take care of, and my husband was in jail. mini-thins were the answer.
