Protoclown returns with the fourth installment of his "Tales From the Longbox" series. This one is the follow-up to the "comic cover clichés" piece that he promised. He received a lot of good feedback on the article, so thanks to any of you who sent in suggestions. Again, if there's a cliché he didn't cover in this piece, be sure to let him know!

Those were sent to me by the guy I gave credit to in the article. They made me laugh my ass off when I first saw them too. I MUST find copies of that Flare comic...it looks too awesome not to own!

have you seen this marvel zombies book? any good? Looks quite funny from what I can tell..

Yeah, I've been reading Marvel Zombies...it's only on issue 2 or so, but so far I'm really enjoying it. It's a 5 or 6 issue mini series, and I don't think it's exactly supposed to be a comedy but it's had some amusing moments.
