I went through tons of wireless headphones. I tried and tried and they all kept shorting out, and they'd all get returned pretty quickly. I tried it on different TVs and such, but it came down to having to just spring for the 100 dollar ones. I bought them maybe a year and half ago and I couldnt be happier with them.
They are Sony MDR-RF9060R, they were about 100 bucks
The one thing I had to get used to at first was I had to turn up my TV all the way pretty much if I wanted clear sound. you just use the volume control on the headphones themselves - when you have the tv turned up all the way it drowns out the fuzz and other interferance. But after a while the fuzz and interferance subsides, I find I no longer have to turn my TV ALL the way up to get clear sound (but I do anyway because I'm used to watching just about everything with the headphones on) My wireless headphones are fantastic, I can walk all around the house with them and the signal doesnt get weak at all. I have to walk out into the street before the signal starts dying (I know this from the few times I've gone to pick up the mail with them on) Also, as an added bonus, it occsaionally picks up cellphone conversations.
