I'm a purist. 'Tis the first for me. But I have a soft spot for Part 8.

I dunno what it is. Maybe it's because the movie has no soundtrack aside from the ambient noise and that wierd sighing noise or whatever it is. It draws you into the movie. A soundtrack usually reminds me that I'm watching a movie, rather than being sucked into the creepy universe.

Whatever. I don't have to justify my decision.

Part 4, because it holds a gigantic nostalgia factor, for it is the first Friday the 13th I have seen, and I saw it first on the friday the thirteenth of 1995 :o

Jason Goes to Hell. The whole vomit in their mouth and possess them thing was awesome, and you could tell the filmmakers didn't take it seriuosly at all, which is always a plus.
