Leech was probably my favourite Morlock. Fucker looked like Marvin Martian in rags.

Calaban was certainly my least favourite.

In any case, didn't all the Morlocks get killed off at one point?

Yes, the Morlocks were wiped out by the Mauraders, led by Sabertooth. A few of them escaped (Artie and Leech) but alot of them died.

why does everyone keep saying the blinky kid looks like Harry Potter? He's just a kid with glasses, that's where it ends. Weird.

SPOILERS

I said the same thing about Deathstrike, it was a huge disappointment! She's being controlled by Stryker for the whole movie, only to cack it before it wears off. Seemed like a waste to me.

Loved seeing Remy's name, loved McCoy on TV, loved Magneto and Mystique whispering like bitchy queens about Rogues hair!

Lady Deathstrike isn't necessarily dead. If she does have a healing factor on par with Logan's, all they have to do is scoop out all the hardened adamantium, and pray that none of it attached to bone (she can stand to lose some organs/muscle IF her healing factor is on par with Wolvie). One thing I learned reading X-Men is it's hard to keep a good mutant down.

Here's some interesting information about designs not used in X-2. Some of which may be seen in X-3. From Dark Horizons.

X3: Production Designer Guy Dyas spoke with Countingdown about all sorts of design work required for the over five dozen sets used in "X2", and talk came up of the inevitable sequel which he says he hasn't heard anything official about as of yet. He did confirm some of the designs they did for "X2" but not used in the film will be saved for future films. Amongst those are the following, see if you can guess which ones will eventually see the light of day: "The Danger Room and the Danger Toom control room (where someone can monitor & supervise the training sessions), Beast and Beast's laboratory, Angel and Archangel, The interior of Alkali Lake's abandoned base which included some very intricate prison cells and a giant cylindrical room where a big mid-air fight sequence was going to happen between Toad and Nightcrawler, a land vehicle that was going to come out of the cargo area of the X-Jet, and a secret level in the Pentagon in Washington D.C.".

Storm electrocuted him in X-Men 1, but I think afterwards he fell into the water still flailing lively. I'm not sure though.

I liked him better than Sabretooth, but it was so annoying that everyone suddenly loved Ray Park just for his stuntwork as Darth Maul.

If they throw in the transformation of Angel to Archangel, they almost have to throw in Apocalypse... which seems to me like a very hard character to pull off NOT laughable on the big screen.

They made sure every character they got out of the way theoretically could still be alive. If they really needed him again, they could even bring back senator Kelly.

I think the Apocalypse story would be the big finale for the series. Once you take on the manifestation of complete and utter destruction of the world, there's nowhere else to go from there. And you know they have to involve Cable too.

Anyway, screw Darth Maul. I liked Ray Park as Toad, DESPITE being the stuntman for Darth Maul. I thought he did a good job, and the nod to Darth Maul was kind of cute. As for flailing, that could be an error, or a hint, or just the fact that being electrocuted would probably make him twict. Who knows?

Wouldn't mind him coming back.

Can we whine about Lady Deathstrike without warning about spoilers now?

Everyone should have seen the movie by now, and if they haven't they are a loser.

According to some stuff that I've been reading on Internet, in the X2 novel, Deathstrike is alive at the end, and a bunch of the scenes that were cut from the final version of the film make it into the book.

Yeah, i'm fucking bumping this.

I just saw it today, thought it totally kicked ass. Jean can read my mind any day.

Two questions, though.

1. Why did they leve Stryker's son to die? I figured Xavier (being the pseudo-jesus he is) would want to save the poor sucker. I wanted to call Stryker's son Wyrm, but i know that's not right, which brings me to question two.

2. Which guy IS Wyrm, again?

There was no one in the movie named Wyrm. Nor is there anyone in the comics by that name, to the best of my knowledge.

Stryker's son was a bad guy. He could project thoughts and hallucinations into other people's minds, but he used his power to further his own interests, initially, and was then completely controlled by his father.

Zomboid told me that fellow had to be Mastermind. Wyrm does sound familiar though, i could swear i remember a psychic mutant named Wyrm. I may have him confused with Leech for some gay reason, though. And just because he was a bad guy doesn't mean Xavier wouldn't try to save him. Xavier, i think, would have tried to save him simply because of what Stryker did to the poor bastard, and try to re-train him. Charlie always struck me as the kind who's full of second chances, i doubt he'de give up when his life is on the brink. I'm not as big an X-fan of some of you other freaks, though, so i'm probably missing some intricate detaisl or something that would conclude otherwise.

I'd say there was simply no more time to go back for Jason, or the risk for Nightcrawler was too great... though both Nightcrawler and Xavier would've wanted to try and save them, considering their characters.

Worm was one of those savage land mutants. His power was to secret this goo he could cover someone with and control them.
