I remember seeing a blurb about this on the news some time back, and I can't help but wonder: Are the upper ranks of the CC really mystified as to why the number of priests is so dramatically dropping ? Let's take a look at the rules as I understand them:

1) Can't get married
2) Can't have sex- ever
3) Can't "flog the bishop"
4) Get to spend much of your life sitting in a small closet listening to a bunch of guilt-driven neurotics confessing their every indiscretion.

Boy, where do I sign up? See, this is what I mean about these guys making fun of themselves. Fish in a barrel, man.
