I've held off buying any of the three movies in case there's some kind of neat extended trilogy package coming out.

I just buy the extended edition dvds by themselves. I mean what the fuck am I going to do with bookends and a gollem statue? I guess it could a great conversation piece before the ladies all go running in the opposite direction of my cock.

I hope that'll be the end of it, though. It would be kind of sad if they released a new version every now and then with another half hour pasted on. And I don't think I'd want to see more than what Jackson honestly felt belonged in the movies.
