Yeah, I figured that out. I ground to level 4 or so and then ran through the first dungeon holding down the attack button and one-shotting all of the enemies.

Then one of those blue demons killed me and I had to start over ;_;

I gave up on all three Marathons, the first two because I could not for the life of me find my way around in any of the levels, and Infinity because it's awful :<

I just finished San Andreas on Sunday. Like all the really rare times that I play a game to the end, I was left feeling dissatisfied that it was so easy.

Well ya gotta save too, geez!

Also, as I said before, I like the universe it's set in. It is INTERESTING. It's something I want to go and explore and would be totally great if the game wasn't awful :<

It's sort of like, if an INCREDIBLE TREASURE were hidden deep within the flesh of my right leg, and if I got ahold of it it would be wonderful and make all my dreams come true, and all I have to do is cut the fuck out of my leg to get at it. Then I start to do that and am like, "this is terrible, why am I doing this."
And I like the Legacy of Kain universe, but that doesn't mean I'm going to play Blood Omen II again.

I guess what I'm saying is that you're a sucker. Quit being a sucker for ES games. You may like the universe, but the gameplay's never going to change, so cut it out.

I sold everything to try and do an entire game with only the infinite rocket launcher, until I got to that part and realized it was impossible :<

Improve on aiming and conserving ammo. I managed to beat the game and I'm not that great a gamer! Go for it!

Also, instead of wasting tons of ammo on those El Ginganto things, just buy a one-shot rocket launcher here and there.

I had to give up on Silent Hill 3 almost as soon as I started because even at the smallest resolution my Geforce 4 MX440 apparently can't handle a game from 2003

it defeated me in another way :<

Get the PS2 version. The effects would probably look nicer anyways.

Also, to stay on topic and avoid commiting internet crimes, I've never gotten around to beating Final Fantasy I, IV, VI, or VII.

Recently, I've stop playing Oblivion because it was taking up way too much time and I didn't really feel I was progessing that well.

when I was younger the idea of a final confrontation with the most powerful being on the planet scared the fuck out of me, so instead of finishing FF7 I just ran around completeing whatever sidequests I could find

I think I tried to beat Sephiroth once, and then my CD broke.

also I don't have a pee ess too

FFI- I gave up after getting beaten by some sort of vampire resembling Dracula (I think)
IV- Made it to the last boss and got my ass whipped
VI- Gave up after several fruitless attempts to find Locke (I was unaware of the "find" function on my computer at the time, which would have helped with a walkthrough)
VII- I twice saved over my files (which were countless hours into the game and on the third disc). I was going to save my friends files for them after they left, and out of a force of habit I forgot to move the cursor down and save on my fucking file . That killed my interest of the game for a while.

I gave up on Morrowind a few times. I suppose one of these days I'll go back and find a class I can get into.

The most recent one I quit was Sudeki. What a fucking terrible game. It's a shame the Xbox never really got more than a few decent RPGs.

I gave up on Bioshock around the time the scientist lady in the Garden sends you on a ridiculously contrived fetch quest, and assumed the whole game would be something like this and I have little patience for that sort of thing. My computer wasn't too great at running Bioshock anyway

There's only one other situation as bad as that and it's the part where you have to break into Ryan's office. Most of the other fetch quests are fairly linear and forward-moving, i.e. no backtracking.
