Recommend me some Xbox games you guys, I've finally gotten up the intiative to buy an Xbox but now I'm finding since I didn't follow the Xbox's gaming run at all I have absolutly no idea what games came out for it except for some of the major ones.

Here's what I'm planning on getting
Halo (I'll pick up the second one if I find I like the first one)
Ninja Gaiden Black
KOTOR (Same thing as Halo)
Call of Cthulhu (I think this actually came out on PS2 but I can't for the life of me find a copy for that particular system so fuck it)

If you guys could name off some cool Xbox games that would be totally radical.

I would highly recommend Secret Weapons over Normandy.
I'd also recommend Chronicles of Riddick, Brothers in Arms, or Mercenaries. All four had their flaws, but on the whole they were extremely solid titles.

Ninja Gaiden Black is the best game ever made for any system.
NG alone has made my Xbox my personal god for about 3 years.

I can only imagine the glory that would be a 42" Plasma TV playing Ninja Gaiden 360 when it comes out for the Xbox360 sometime down the road....

i would reccomend:

-fable: lost chapters
-psychonauts (assuming you dont have another version)
-doom 3 (online co-op is pretty rad)
-outrun 2
-conker: BFD

Farcry: Instincts

Brothers in Arms: Road To Hill 30, and get the sequel as well.

Prince of Persia: Sands of Time. The X-box version gets POP2.

Any fighting game: As long as you have X-box live, any fighting game is fun.

Phantom Crash

PHANTOM DUST!!!!!

and Otogi:Myth of Demons. Its underrated on the same level as Phantom Dust and PsychoNauts

"Breakdown" Its an FPS brawler (think punchout + half life)

the Xbox hasn't had too many remarkable games since about 2004, but from 01-04 there are some pretty sweet underground titles. Im wracking my brain because I know there are more than Phantom dust, Otogi, Breakdown, and Phantom Crash.


Edit:Oh Sudeki was a pretty good game.

Metal Gear 2 Substance (Chugs compared to PS2 though)

edit: Halo 2 just for Xbox live alone. I'd recommend Phantasy Star Online but they charge on top of the xbox live.
