it's got a turbo diesel engine! this "baby it for the first thousand miles" shit is driving me crazy though. every time the turbo kicks in, i'm all like, oh shit, i'm gonna break it!

it's just the opposite in america. manual is for overtuned sports cars or super-cheap economy cars. i do know how to drive stick though. my folks were good enough to let me tear up their clutch when i was first learning.

BTW - this thread is kinda inappropriate for a discussion of the merits and flaws of specific automobile transmissions, so this is my last reply on the subject unless maybe i post a pic of me standing next to my car tomorrow. but there will be no talk of clutches i promise.
