whats the point of ignoring people on a message board? thats like blocking out some of your channels on your tv for the most part. most of the people who need to be ignored are banned anyway

also, if i was ignoring someone, i wouldnt make a thread about it so they could read it.

to be honest, having the ignore function makes me feel way less obligated to ban people, so it's probably in their best interests.
