anyone know any great games that have retarded fast action? The only ones I can think of are

Zone of the Enders 2
Omega Boost
Super EDF
Gradius
and another one on the Playstation that was like a crazy 3D German Gradius

Magical Drop Series (Fast Paced Neo Geo Puzzle game)
Saturday Night Slam Masters (Fast compared to other Arcade wrestling games)
Marvel "VS" Series (The Fastest 2D Fighter Around)
Robotron
Ikaruga
Strider 2
Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo (Not only the Fastest Street Fighte 2 game, its also the hardest)
Batsugun

first of all i love zone of enders 2

but 1080 avalanche is freaky fast if you know what you're doing.
