Old Jul 15th, 2003, 12:16 PM        Today's DDR Workout Mode Results
Cumulative calories burned: 1278.489 kcal
Number of songs played: 50
Average calories burned (per song): 25.569 kcal

* Exercise Equivalent *

Jogging: 334.106 km (207.604 miles)
Jumping rope: 185042 times
Swimming: 148262m (148.262 km, 92.1257 miles)

lol :<

It was all in a non-stop, so there was 'no stop' between songs :<

Mapquest says Richmond is only 159.88 miles away. I could visited Proto and Woger and Bruce
That is, if only the 'exercise equivalent' was based even remotely in reality.

Haha, somehow Woger doubts that your workout was the equivalent of a jog all the way to Richmond.

but this is jogging we're talking about here. and everyone knows that playing one 1:30 DDR song is the rough equivalent to jogging four miles.

They may not have their scale correct in game, but it still is a damn good workout...and a damn good game...

Plus any mention of me in a thread without having me post acknowledge it is highly blasphemous.

ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO HIT THE GOD DAMN ARROW PADS RIGHT WHEN THE ARROW MATCHES UP OR JUST BEFORE IT MATCHES UP???

I'm being serious. I'm using caps because I'm angry because all of the 3 times I've played DDR I got around 8 hits.

You move to hit the arrow before it matches so you'll hit it when it does :<

go to stepmania.com. not only is it by FAR the best PC DDR emulator, but they have a list of PSX -> USB adapters that work with dance pads. Most adapters map the pad to the left analog stick, which makes it so you can't hit L&R or U&D at the same time.
