I knew you'd include KITH.

I like most of those shows, too. 90's Simpsons rocked. It was cool 'cause it was like the one thing my brother and I agreed on and could talk about. That said, I haven't watched a new episode of The Simpsons since that trip to Italy/return of Sideshow Bob episode. That was just... not funny. Like, whoa.

Arrested Development and MST3K are probably my favs.

And Mike was far better than Joel. He had a much better delivery, and he didn't sound like he was always on the verge of falling asleep like poor Joel.

Joel had soul, if you'll pardon the pun. Whenever he spoke, you could really tell he was bored and truly needed those robots and old movies and pop references.

I have to decide between Samurai Jack and Megas XLR. You have no idea how hard that is.

I'm one of the biggest Mystery Science Theater 3000 fans there is, and I used to prefer Joel before I watched more of Mike. I now prefer Mike much much more than Joel. I just find Mike to be more personable, more talented, and funnier. He also has better chemistry with the other actors. Apparantly, Joel was a jerk and a prima donna which made it hard for the other actors (especially Kevin Murphy [Tom Servo]) to work with him and it shows. And it's painfully obvious by the 5th season that Joel wanted nothing more to do with MST3k. Once Mike took over, you can almost see everyone's faces looking more relaxed and the show became a lot funnier.

I love both of them though to be honest, and I love every episode of MST3k. It's by far my favourite TV show ever. I'm also a big fan of Family Guy.
Shows that I'm impressed by right now though are Dexter, and the BBC's Robin Hood.

Joel had something about him that was very endearing. Even if it was his really early SNL comedy stuff, he always had this look about him as if he'd just rolled out of bed and stumbled onto the stage.

I was always mystified by the red satin heart he'd wear onstage during the comedy routines. He kept going back and touching it absently. I wonder if it was code to someone, like Carol Burnett pulling on her ear.

Firstly, I looked on the internet. Mike IS the better host of MST3K.
Secondly, Get Smart is my favorite show. I saw they're making a movie version with Steve Carell. I think it's a pretty good choice

People are always telling me how good Battlestar Galactica and Heroes are. Not really the same sort of thing though.

Heroes is pretty good. It takes a committment though because it can drag on at times, especially the first couple episodes of each season when they're setting up all the future action. It's a good show as a whole as long as you're not looking to be impressed by every single episode and have a decent attention span.

Precisely, he always sounded bored. Perhaps that was just his characterization, but it was still annoying.

And learn what a pun is, for god's sake.

why don't you shutup about it

I don't have a favorite show of all time but here are my favorite shows of different times. Obviously some of these dropped in quality over the years but at their peak they were the best thing on TV.

This is all required viewing

The Kids in the Hall
Get a Life
Space Ghost: Coast to Coast
Mystery Science Theater 3000
The Simpsons
The Adventures of Pete and Pete
Mr. Show
Arrested Development
Seinfeld
Late Night with Conan O'Brien
Taxi
Law & Order: SVU
The Tom Green Show
Home Movies
Aqua Teen Hunger Force
SCTV (and to a lesser extent early SNL)
The Wire
Beavis and Butthead
Stella
Tim and Eric: Awesome Show Great Job (and Tim and Eric Night Live)
The Office

Haha Pete and Pete was awesome. I really miss all those Nickelodeon shows from the early 90s. Salute Your Shorts and Hey Dude are classics and should never be forgotten.

I used to base nearly all of my DVD purchases and TV viewing on Jixby's preferences (which were correct 99% of the time) and GADZOOKS' list jogged my memory about this.

And I've heard nothing but amazing things about The Wire, but seeing as though that I've never watched a TV drama in my life I'm a bit hesitant.

But if Jixby likes it,

I did too but those did NOT age well with time. Pete and Pete on the otherhand did.

I'll love if someone create a sitcom that would be something like "Alf meets Titus", two of the comedy shows that i love most, Dharma & Greg was good too, Fox have cancelled many of my favourites shows, like one that was like The Blair Witch Project, where a group of persons investigate paranormal cases, and they filmed all with their cameras, thats the blair witch part, i don't remember the name of the show.
Penner & Teller: Bullshit was funny, i'm so sad that they doesn't broadcast it anymore in here.

Surely, you jest. The way I see it, [as] only put that show on the air as punishment for low anime ratings.
