Because the creator of Mario made it. In fact he had more to do with it than the japanese SMB2.

SMB2 isn't so bad. A hard game would definitely be Battle Toads. The difficulty scales so quickly in that game, I'm surprised that there are kids who beat it when it was new. I tried, but the only way I could was with a game genie. Now, I still can't beat it without cheating, but I can at least get to the level with the giant sawblades chasing you on my own.

Battletoads is beatable without cheating if you know the right warps and have absolutely no life so you can spend as much time as possible memorizing everything you have to do in a level

Battletoads Arcade is a whole different ballgame, though, and a better game.

There's a cabinet for it down in an arcade by my family's vacation house, and every time me and my friend go down there I force him to play through it with me.

I think I'm going to skip the Xbox and get a 360, but it's still a bit pricey for me, there aren't enough 360 games I want, I want to avoid the Red Ring of Death, and last I checked not all the Xbox games I wanted to play were backwards compatable (Stranger's Wrath)

you think a game about a kung fu fighting cookie's crazy. Endless Ocean is a major trip, 'cause all you do is go scuba diving, plus what makes it so cool is that you can hang on to sharks (without being mangled).
