is andrew wk indie now? wow.

ok, so i havent heard it yet, but you cant blame me for not trying because my last impression of him was that he blew ass.

and lightning bolt made last years list for me.

my top in order:

01.outkast - speakerboxx/the love below
02.matmos - the civil war
03.radiohead - hail to the thief
04.manitoba - up in flames
05.prefuse 73 - one word extinguisher
06.blur - think tank
07.autechre - draft 7.30
08.broadcast - ha ha sound
09.white stripes - elephant
10.mogwai - happy songs for happy people
11.junior senior - d-d-d-dont stop the rock
12.massive attack - 100th window
13.fc kahuna - machine says yes
14.kraftwerk - tour de france
15.mars volta - deloused in the comatarium

didnt look for music nearly as hard as i did last year, so this ist is wihout a lot of noise shit i would have liked a lot. wiese for sure, and bastard noise probably... never liked merzbow, but i was told not to judge before i heard '1930' which i havent. and as you can tell, i'm starting to get BACK into the more convential and being more appreciative about it.

it must fuck over some people to see mogwai and junior senior together... but thats what i mean when i tell people i like damn near every type of music.
